About Me

I am a strategic business development executive with over fifteen years experience in technology startups, primarily in the demanding financial services and e-commerce verticals.  I have served as a salesperson, manager, and executive while maintaining strong client relationships with a broad range of companies from small private firms to global corporations.


As an individual producer, I have secured a number of multi-million dollar software solution contracts with Fortune 500 clients, including two separate sales that led directly to acquisitions totaling over $200 million.  My ability to develop strategic partnerships and negotiate effectively with multiple functional areas make me especially skilled at helping small companies win business from large organizations.


In leadership and management roles, I have consistently demonstrated an ability to build strong, loyal teams across functional areas including sales, marketing, operations, professional services and product development.  I am known for thoroughly uncovering client and prospective client needs and working closely with team members to devise efficient and effective solutions that fit within the capabilities of my team and deliver exceptional value to clients.  I have a strong interpersonal rapport with clients and coworkers, and at several times I have served in key crisis management roles involving challenging transitions.


More recently, I have been involved with a number of technology startups, where I have used my experience to help move these businesses from concept to product, secured funding and financing opportunities, and helped keep them on a consistent path to profitability.


Three times in my career I have been one of the first twenty employees of companies that went on to become part of global, publicly traded firms.  I thoroughly enjoy the early stages of entrepreneurship and am always looking for a new opportunity to create success.
